Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026. This policy explains what information Garage Door Repair Connect collects, how we use it and the choices you have.
Who we are
Garage Door Repair Connect ("we," "us") operates a free service that matches homeowners with independent local garage door companies. We are not a contractor. You can contact us at hello@garagedoorrepairconnect.com.
Information we collect
- Information you give us in our forms, such as your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and the details of your project.
- Technical information collected automatically when you use the site, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the page or ad that referred you.
- Information from cookies and similar technologies used for site performance and analytics.
How we use your information
- To match your request with up to 5 independent local companies that serve your area and share it with them so they can contact you.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text or email, including follow-ups to confirm you were helped.
- To operate, protect and improve the site, prevent fraud and measure our advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share your information
When you submit a request, we may share the information you provided with up to 5 participating independent companies that serve your ZIP code and the type of work you need, so they can contact you about your project. Some areas have fewer participating companies. Each company's use of your information is governed by its own privacy practices. Each participating company that receives your request pays us a fee, which is how the service stays free for homeowners. You never have to hire anyone. Participating companies are listed on our Participating Companies page.
We also share information with service providers who help us run the site (for example hosting, form processing, analytics and messaging providers), and when required by law. We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
Calls and text messages
If you agree in our form, we and up to 5 participating companies that serve your area may contact you about your request at the number you provided, including by calls and texts that may use automated technology or a prerecorded or artificial voice. You can tell any company to stop contacting you. Consent is not required to make a purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or HELP for help.

We use cookies and similar tools to understand how visitors use the site and to measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work properly without them.
